Avant-Garde Spanish Cuisine with the Soul of Andalusia.
If Spain makes you think of tapas and wine, close your eyes…..and let your heart wander south. To the land of flamenco echoes in cobbled alleys, sun drenched patios, laughter at twilight, and the scent of orange blossom in the air. This is the spirit of Pata Negra Tapas Bar – a corner of Andalusia far from home, yet close to the heart. A place like no other, a place that feels like you belong!
Chef’s Note: At Pata Negra Tapas bar, we celebrate the bold spirit and traditions of Spanish cuisine. Ours is an unapologetically avant-garde approach – where classic dishes are reimagined with precision, creativity, and respect for their origins. The soul of Andalusia runs through everything we do – from the intensity of our flavors to the rhythm of our kitchen. It’s a cuisine built on passion, memory, and emotion – meant to be felt as much as tasted. My foundation was shaped in a small kitchen in Sevilla, where my mother, aunts and grandmother taught me to cook – not just with technique, but with the heart. That spirit lives in every dish we create. Here, time-honored techniques meet modern expression. Each plate is a tribute to Spain’s culinary heritage, viewed through a contemporary lens and served in the vibrant heart of New York City. This is not just a meal – it’s a celebration of Spanish identity, past and future, on every plate.
